Hot Chip have remixed two classic Kraftwerk tracks for an exclusive new single release on September 17th.
The electro outfit have remixed the songs, ‘Aerodynamik’ and ‘La Forme’ which originally appeared on Kraftwerk’s 2003, ‘Tour De France Soundtracks’ album.
The release coincides with this years Tour De France cycle race, which for the first time in its history began in London last month.
‘Aerodynamik,’ has been remixed by Alexis Taylor & Joe Goddard, while ‘La Forme’ has been remixed by Al Doyle and Felix Martin.
Speaking about Kraftwerk, Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard said: "What makes Kraftwerk brilliant is the combination of fascinating textures and sounds, simplicity and efficiency in production, and a habit of writing beautiful melodies."
The special single will be released on CD, 12” vinyl and digital download.
