Kaiser Chiefs have inadvertently revealed that they will be playing at the BBC’s Electric Proms in October.
The band were playing a gig at Hordern Pavilion in Australia when frontman Ricky Wilson let the news slip during the band’s encore.
When the band returned to finish their set Wilson asked the crowd to record a TV advert, reports NME.
"Alright - now repeat after me!" said Wilson to the crowd. "We are the Kaiser Chiefs and sometime soon we'll be appearing at the BBC Electric Proms with help from our friend David Arnold. We'll see you there and have a great time. Bye!"
The line-up for this year’s Electric Proms will not be unveiled in full until September. Last year saw performances from Kasabian, Paul Weller and The Who.
