1The Klaxons played a last-minute show with their new bassist in London's Luminaire last night.
Pal Joe Daniels, from The Violets, took over bass duties from the injured Jamie Reynolds, who joined the band on stage throughout the set despite nursing a broken ankle.
Guitarist Simon Taylor-Davis told the BBC on Friday why they decided to do the gig, explaining, "Joe hasn't slept for about three days listening to the album on repeat in his headphones.
"We had our first practice yesterday and we thought what better way than doing a little warm up show as well?"
