Stevie Wonder And Usher Win Big At Billboard Awards

Usher dominated last nights Billboard Magazine Music Awards in Las Vegas last night.

The singer went home with a staggering 11 awards, including artists of the year and album of the year. His latest album ‘Confessions’ has sold 7.1 million copies in the United States since its release in March.

"It's been about 10 years since we started, and we knew this would happen," Usher said to Reuters. "We don't put out a record without a number one record, do we?"

The televised event that took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena honours artists based on their performance in music industry trade publication Billboard's weekly music charts.

Alicia Keys won 7 awards and Outkast were named group of the year.

Kanye West won 4 awards including rap artist of the year.

Stevie Wonder was honoured when he received a lifetime achievement award. Producer Quincy Jones and singer Diana Ross were both their to support there old friend.
