Dolly Parton Launches Her Own Imprint

Voluptuous country legend Dolly Parton has launched her own record label to release her future albums.

Imaginatively titled Dolly Records, the first release will be Dolly’s next long-player which is expected to be on the shelves in February.

Speaking to Billboard, Parton’s manager Danny Nozell explained that Dolly will be the sole artist on the imprint.

He explains: "She's going to be the only person on that label. We're not signing any other artists - it's going to be strictly for Dolly Parton."

Nozell continued that the record could mark a return to the chart-cracking days of old, adding: "It's really the first mainstream country record Dolly has done in 17 years?"
