Organisers of the Reading Festival say the event will still definitely be going ahead, despite currently being swamped in water.
Around a quarter of the site is ankle deep in water following the torrential rains throughout June and July.
However, managing director of Mean Fiddler Melvin Benn, says that they are doing all within their power to get the site up to scratch.
He told 6music: "It's much better this week. We're literally pumping water off by the thousands of gallons an hour; pumping it off the land and moving it down the river really, and it's really making quite a substantial difference."
"There are vast areas of it that you can actually walk on now. It's still waterlogged, but the water's going down - it's going down really well."
The Met Office says that forecast throughout August is much brighter and we are unlikely to see anywhere near the level of rain in recent weeks.
