Madonna is considering leaving the Warner Music Group when her current record deal expires, according to reports.
The singer is currently recording her last album with her current Warner deal in London - which will be the follow-up to 2005’s ‘Confessions On A Dancefloor.’
According to The New York Post, the singer is looking at signing a new all encompassing deal with the tour company, Live Nation.
The un-traditional contract would mean that Live Nation would not only manage Madonna’s record distribution through an independent label, but would also control her business issues, including, touring, sponsorships and merchandising.
The multiyear deal – which could be worth over $100 million – would be the first of its kind for the company.
