Franz Ferdinand’s bassist, Bob Hardy has rejoined the band whilst on their US tour.
Hardy was hospitalised in Tokyo hours before the band were scheduled to play at the Nagoya Diamond Hall on November 28.
Dino from their support band The Beat Up performed as a stand in with the rest of the band.
Alex Kapranos spoke to MTV saying: "Bob had an attack of gastroenteritis and he ended up in hospital. They had him on a drip for a few days but he's going to be OK."
"I think he ate something that didn't agree with him. It could've been one of many things he ate."
Drummer Paul Thomson added: "He just picks things up and puts them in his mouth. He's like a baby."
The Fiery Furnaces' Toshi Yano had been standing in for Healey for the start of their US tour but was able to rejoin the tour on Friday at the Continental Airlines Arena in Meadowlands, New Jersey.
Hardy said: "If I'd have left the hospital too early there was a good chance my illness would have worsened again and I might have ended up back in hospital somewhere in the US."
