David Bowie has announced he’s reissuing his 1993 album ‘The Buddha Of Suburbia’ as a two-CD set.
Bowie says the long player, released as the soundtrack to the BBC adaptation of Hanif Kureishi’s best-selling book, is one of his favourites, despite moderate sales figures.
He says, “This album may well have been one of the most enjoyable projects that I've been involved with.
"My personal memory stock for this album was made up from an almighty plethora of influences and reminiscences from the 1970s."
The reissue will be released in early October.

- It’s a rubbish album and not a patch on anything he put out in the early seventies

- Buddha of Suburbia, non?

- He recorded this in a few days. I think only the album title was used in the play. Generally, its quite a good album. You need to listen to it a few times but its deffo worth having if your a fan. Better than half the albums released by bands these days who have one or two decent tracks on but are generally second rate. He didn’t promote it at all.

- FFS David - do something new or retire!

- Spike, If you think Buddah Of Suburbia is a rubbish David Bowie album?? then it has to be said that you don’t know your arse from your elbow! No offence like.
I agree with Cagey UK though, it’s time db did something new, either that or he should retire.
