A forensic pathologist has told the court at Phil Spector’s murder trial that Lana Clarkson most likely killed herself.
Spector is accused of murdering the B movie actress – who died of a single gunshot wound – in February 2003. Ms Clarkson’s body was found at Spector’s house.
Forensic pathologist, Dr Werner Spitz told the courtroom in Los Angeles: "In my opinion, it is most likely a suicide."
He added that decisions made by an LA County deputy medical examiner who deemed that the actress had been murdered had been “hasty,” reports the BBC.
Dr Spitz’s testimony echoed those of other witnesses who had said that blood splatter on Spector’s clothes meant he could not have been close enough at the time of the shooting.
The forensic pathologist said yesterday: “Mr Spector could not have had his finger on that trigger because he wasn't close enough."
If convicted Spector will face life in prison for the crime.

- What does this guy’s hair say about his judgement? Are we really supposed to take this guy seriously? I guess courts can ignore elephants in the room just like other groups of people.
- The court system in America is a circus Phil is the clown, the judge the ringleader and all of us a laughing audience.
Its funny or should I say ironic that many or most of the left wing wacko’s with a lot of money and time to spend it all come from California and they get pardoned 99% of he time.
I.E. OJ, Jackson and to some extent Hilton(sentense was a joke!).Justice served up fresh as the money going into the judges pockets!

- Left wing? Separate fact from fantasy. This guy is a right wing gun owner if I ever saw one, Ready to do justice as he sees fit without the regard for the rule of law. Reminds me of his mirror image in the White House.
- He should be found guilty just based on his hair!!
