Franz Ferdinand Announce Scottish Tour

Franz Ferdinand have announced an intimate tour of Scotland to road test material from their new album.

The Glaswegian quartet will play seven dates in September including a show in Shetland to close the tour.

They are currently in the studio recording the songs for their third album which is expected to be released in 2008.

The dates are:

Stirling, Fubar – September 9
Inverness, Raigmore – 10
Fort William, Ba Club – 11
Dundee, Fat Sams – 18
Aberdeen, Moshulu – 19
Portree, Community Centre – 21
Shetland, Whiteness & Weisdale Hall - 24
