Global Gathering festival organisers have assured festivalgoers that this weekends (July 27th-28th) dance event will definitely take place.
The news comes as torrential weather - that forced so many festival to be cancelled last weekend - continues to hit the UK.
Organisers have re-iterated that the Long Marston site near Stratford Upon-Avon remains unaffected by the weather and will still see headline performances from Faithless and Basement Jaxx.
James Algate, one of the Festivals organisers said: “We are once again expecting over 50,000 people to have the weekend of their lives. We also wish to reassure ticket holders that after being on site for the past week, the airfield and traffic routes are totally unaffected by the recent floods.
“Despite bad weather our customers have already been calling into the office saying that they are determined to enjoy the weekend and that really shows the affection the ticket holders have for the biggest dance event in the world.”
Tickets for the event are still available.
