Little Man Tate To Play Blackpool Empress Ballroom

Little Man Tate have announced details of their biggest show yet – Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom.

The Sheffield lads play the hallowed venue on December 15 to culminate what has been a highly successful 2007 for the band.

As previously reported, the band are set to play a benefit show at The Sheffield Plug on August 4 for victims of the recent floods that have blighted Yorkshire.

This coming Friday they support the Stereophonics at the ICA in London as part of the iTunes Festival.

Meanwhile, the band have just confirmed that they will be releasing a new version of ‘European Lover’ on August 27. This will be followed by a deluxe version of their debut album ‘About What You Know’ a week later.

    • I’m sorry, but they aren’t good enough for Blackpool Empress Ballroom. It really shows how downright crazily mainstream ’indie’ has now become. Jees, Cajun Dance Party will be playing there next!

    • Fair play to them, they’re pushing to see how big they can go before the sychophants run out of friends to bring along to fill a venue.
