Morrissey Verbally Attacks Madonna

Singer angered by her love of fur…

Morrissey has launched a verbal attack over Madonna’s fondness for wearing fur during a recent gig for PETA.

Morrissey was playing at Norfolk, Virginia’s Norva venue (July 9th) in America when he made the angry comments.

He told the audience: “I wouldn't be surprised if she made that African boy she adopted into a coat and wore him for fifteen minutes, then threw it away."

The former Smiths member has been a long time supporter of PETA - short for ‘People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals’ – who have their headquarters near to the Virginia venue.

Morrissey added later in the show: "I'm very gratified to be so close to the international headquarters of the People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals," reports NME.

it figures the only press the whinny twat gets is for bashing someone else whom I highly doubt has ever met for that matter. all i can say is morrissey: its over and has been LONG over for you. not a huge fan of lady madge here but I give by far more credit than most just for ability to plow forward and do what ever she damn well pleases regardless of the really not important critics nasty opinions. she really is more punk than pop if you really look at her careers in retrospect.

Well in Mozza. Madonna is an embarrassement. Take away teenage girls and there daughters!! and she wouldn’t have a fan base. She is a hypocritical vegetarian. ’Morrisey who’ Go and check out his sell out concerts mate, he’s a genius and he won’t sell out to do stadium gigs which he could easily fill, you little pr!ck.

A prick? Maybe your right mate. Regardless of insult, I have seen him live. Forgive me for finding him to be tiresome these days. And as for ’selling out’ get over it-for real. I highly don’t concider any artist a ’sell out’ if they appeal to masses. Your mentality is comparable to a 12 year old rebelious teen. At the end of the day, its music that you adore or not-sell out or not. After this forum I think i gained more respect for the lady madge...made me think.
