Editors’ Tom Smith says that performing at Glastonbury Festival this year was the greatest night of his life.
The Midlands based outfit had previously played the festival in 2005, but at a much earlier time slot.
The 25-year-old singer says that this year’s second to headline slot (behind Iggy Pop) on The Other Stage was comparable to none.
He told the Daily Star: “Glastonbury was everything everyone told us it would be and more. It sounds like a cliché but it was the best night of our lives.”
Editors play a huge UK tour this autumn, kicking off on October 1 at the Norwich UEA and winding up on October 25. The stint includes three nights at Brixton Academy.
