The Police’s Stewart Copeland has revealed that the recently reunited band still argue frequently during rehearsals.
As previously reported, The Police reunited this year after twenty years apart for a special reunion tour.
Copeland has suggested that his relationship with Sting – which has always been fractious – is still unstable despite the long period apart.
"There were fights and there still are,” said Copeland about the relationship. “Verbal, they were never physical. These days we're on a three or four-day cycle.
"We're playing nicely, then the little rubs and grinds start, you know, 'Stewart, don't play that', Sting, I wanna. Then, Nyanyanyanyannnnnn... 'You f**king...!' Stomp off. Errrrrrgh! It drives me nuts and I'm thinking, I don't need this, I'm not going to put up with this.”
According to dotmusic, Copeland added that the pair always make up, however.
He said: "Then, a little later it's Sting? 'Stewart?' You know I love you. 'You know I love you too'. Two grown men kissing and hugging tearfully. After that we're on our best behaviour. Until he starts. And I start."

- you are sooo dumb

- Stewart’s a musical genuis. He’s the world’s second greatest rock drummer, second only to John Bohham and has scored many soundtracks and wrote an opera or two. But when it comes to pop music he is clueless. Stewart is always itching to be on equal ground with Sting. What he needs to do is be realisitic about his strengths and weaknesses, play his drums and SHUT THE **** UP before this band crashes and burns a second time

- I sent two paragraphs on the Police thing and they didn’t get posted. I know they had more intelligent content than : ”that sounds soo gay
So why does your proof reader hate me?

The Police are my all time favorite band. I never saw them live when they were together in the ’80s. I’m praying that their spurs don’t get jangled before they play Atlanta.
