This track is released a week ahead of the ‘best of’ collection, ‘Absolute Garbage’ and was specially recorded for inclusion on the compilation – always a bit of a risky business, especially when the track is largely forgettable, over-produced and lacking in the gritty sleaze that early 90’s Garbage rode on the success of. ‘Tell Me Where It Hurts’ does not seem worthy to sit alongside the old classics such as ‘Only Happy When It Rains’ and ‘Push It’ which will take you back to your younger days of wanting to be/wanting to bed Shirley Manson (delete as appropriate).
