Amy Winehouse Hits Camden Boozer On Summer Pops Night

Amy Winehouse fans with tickets to her cancelled Summer Pops show will be shocked to learn that the singer was propping up the bar in her favourite Camden boozer on Wednesday night.

As previously reported, thousands of fans were turned away from the Summer Pops tent shortly before the gig was due to start on Wednesday, with security guards telling people that Winehouse was ill and admitted to hospital.

Now it seems those claims were totally untrue, as today’s Sun has published pictures of Wino and husband Blake Fielder-Civil in the Hawley Arms at 8.45pm that evening.

If the newspaper is to be believed, it seems that after her afternoon sound-check, Amy pulled out of the gig and headed south straight to the pub.

The show has since been rearranged for July 18.
