A series of Gibson guitars signed by all the acts at the Live Earth gigs around the globe will go under the hammer following the climate awareness raising event this Saturday.
The famous company has created 25 of these ultra-limited edition six-string guitars, emblazoned with the Live Earth logo and made from environmentally friendly, rain forest certified mahogany.
After being signed by all the acts on the bill, the guitars will then be up for auction on eBay with all proceeds going to The Alliance for Climate Protection.
Kevin Wall, founder and producer of Live Earth, said: “The Gibson custom designed acoustic guitars represent the ultimate combination of music and environmentally conscious practice that is in line with our Live Earth messaging.
“Music has the universal power to unite cultures and we will focus that energy on July 7th to motivate people all over the world to take action to combat global warming.”
