Stephen Fretwell has announced details of a new single and album.
The 26-year-old S****horpe lad releases the full-length album ‘Man on the Roof’ on September 10. It’s the follow-up to 2004’s acclaimed ‘Magpie.’
The 14 track album was recorded in New York with producer Eli Janney, and is said to be more upbeat than his debut.
The album is preceded by the single ‘Scar’ a week earlier, which will come backed with as-yet-unannounced b-sides.
Meanwhile, Fretwell plays the Soho Revue Bar in London on July 26 in the midst of a busy festival season which takes in the likes of Guildfest, T on the Fringe and the V Festival.
