The Simpsons Headhunt Madonna

Simpsons creator Matt Groening wants Madonna to appear in an episode of the show.

Despite having a galaxy of A-List stars lending their voices to characters on the show, Groening says Madonna is one of the few he has been unable to snag so far.

He said: “We would love her to do the show. She's one of the people we haven't been able to get yet.”

Music acts that have previously appeared on the show include Green Day, U2, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, The Ramones, Cypress Hill, Dolly Parton, Elton John and Johnny Cash.

The Simpsons movie is released later this month.
