Some of the planet’s biggest and most influential DJs are set to play in front of the largest digital screen in the world this weekend.
As previously reported, Industrial Resolution is held at the Manchester Centre (formerly the G-Mex) on Friday and Saturday night (July 6/7).
The vast screen is 40 metres wide and is eight times higher resolution than HD (High Definition). Showcasing cutting-edge digital imagery alongside the music, organisers claim that it is the ‘graphic art event of the decade.’
Playing in front of it on the Friday are 2manyDJs, DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist, Erol Alkan & Richard Norris, Bushwacka, Gilles Peterson and Unabombers.
Fatboy Slim, Sasha, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Erol Alkan, Layo, Frankie Knuckles and David Morales all do the honours on the Saturday.
Tickets are £32.50 for the opening day and £40 on the Saturday.
