Robert Plant has laughed off reports Led Zeppelin are to reform.
The surviving members of the influentuial rock band – Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones – were expected to play together during a tribute concert for Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun.
However, Plant has denied any such plan, saying, “If there was one, then there wouldn't be enough doctors to support it!"
Fans around the globe had been speculating that the one-off date would lead to a further world tour. Unfortunately, at the moment, it seems these hopes have been dashed.

- The day that rock’s greatest drummer, John Bonham died(9-25-1980), the mighty Led Zeppelin, rock’s greatest band, ceased to exist. Sadly, a true Zep reunion is impossible. It would be a record smashing event because of Zeppelin’s enormous enduring popularity, but without the four original members the famous chemistry they possessed could not exist. RIP Bonzo.

- No Doubt led Zeppelin was a great band but even back in the 70’s they sucked on stage.

- I danced with the devil.
It was 1969(led Zeppelin)
Curiosity gave way to awe and instant adulation when the first chords of hole lotta love struck up through the speakers turning the air electric with the drive of the riffs coming off Jimmy’s guitar the bass fluctuating from whisper to boom in the same twelve bar section driven on by John Bonham on top of this the voice of Robert Plant.
That was and should be the way they are remembered.......................

- Led Zeppelin should reunite and start a world tour. I say this mostly for the young classic rocks who, such as myself, love Led Zeppelin and never got to see them in concert. the closest thing I saw was the MN Orchestra play a tribute concert for them with a Led Zeppelin tribute band. but the thing is, is Robert Plant is a pompus ass, and wont do anything but for himself. Don’t get me wrong, I am obssessed with Zeppelin but Plant needs to suck it up and play.
