Damien Rice played a cover of Radiohead’s infamous ‘Creep’ last night (June 29th) as the penultimate day of the Hove Festival, in Norway drew to a close.
Playing on the festivals amphi-stage, Rice closed what had already been a memorable set with the Radiohead number.
It’s not the first time that the Irishman has covered the song. As well as previous live performances, most notably at Glastonbury in 2003, his version also appeared on ‘Sounds Eclectic: The Covers Project,' earlier this year.
Meanwhile, as we reported exclusively earlier, Radiohead look set to headline the 2008 edition of the Hove Festival. The band are currently in the latter stages of negotiations.
