Machine Head To Support Metallica At Wembley

Machine Head have been confirmed as a main support for Metallica at next weekend’s Wembley Stadium show.

Metallica’s fellow Bay Area natives are touring in support of their latest album ‘The Blackening’ – tour which has seen them already take in the Download Festival earlier this month.

Clearly elated, band guitarist Phil Demmel said about the invite: “A monstrous cherry just got plopped on top of our already huge European festival run pie, in the shape of the Metallica show at Wembley Stadium. Are you ****ing kidding me?!?

”We couldn't have asked for a better ending to this amazing ride through Europe than to play with our Bay Area brothers at this legendary venue.”

Machine Head take to the stage at 5.15pm.

I think i’ve died and gone to heaven! I missed Machine Head at download but when i found out about the black crusade tour i bought tickets immediately and now this! Oh yes! Two of my all time favorite bands =D Bonus!
