Bon Jovi have notched up their first number one in almost two decades with their latest album ‘Lost Highway.’
The long-player sold 292,000 copies in its first week to claim the US top spot. It’s the third time Jon Bon Jovi and co. have reached the summit, having entered at number one with ‘Slippery When Wet’ in 1987 and ‘New Jersey’ in 1988.
The rockers narrowly beat The White Stripes’ ‘Icky Thump’ to the top spot which shifted 223,000 units.
However, the album is The White Stripes’ highest ever chart entry having previously entered three with ‘Get Behind Me Satan’, six with ‘Elephant’ and 61 with ‘White Blood Cells.’

Congratulations Bon Jovi, I’m so Proud of You!

- Lost Highway shows why these guys have had a long and successful career. They look and sound better now then ever before! GO JOVI!

- Fantastic album, Lost Highway is full of great lyrics and tunes, well done boys,
another masterpiece!!!!

- Lost Highway is heart stopping, full of love
and fantastic lyrics! Jon Bon Jovi has the
voice to sing any type of music out there and
Lost Highway simply reminded me why I love to
hear him sing! Rock on guys, rock on!

- Jon should have had Trisha Yearwook sing ”Till we ain’t strangers anymore” with his instead of Leann Rimmes. He needs a more mature partner for a song like that.
