Despite a break of around ten years, the 80’s guitar pop band The Trudy are back with ‘3 Minutes 4U’ - a light and inoffensive tune reminiscent of Blondie, but sadly not as good. It’s one of those songs that you hear once and quickly forget about. There are no hooks, catchy riffs or great lines to grab you and make you want to listen and enjoy the music. ‘Lost Summer Of Love’ varies very little to the A-side beyond the fact is sounds slightly more dreamy but is twice as irritating as it tries to recapture the essence of the Sixties.

This single is unlikely to attract love and attention from the youth of today, but if The Trudy are lucky it might just inspire their old fans to reminisce over the good old days when the band were relevant.
