Glastonbury 2007 Kicks Off With Torrential Rain

Glastonbury 2007 has officially started with bands treading the boards on all the main stages for the first time this morning.

Mr Hudson & The Library are the first band up, opening the other stage at 10.30 this morning. Sadly for the fans gathered, right on queue, the heavens have opening in true Glastonbury style.

The Pyramid stage is, as we’re writing, currently seeing a performance from Adjagas, Look See Proof are opening the John Peel Stage, while Peter and the Wolf are doing the honours on the new Park stage.

Tonight sees headline sets from Arctic Monkeys, Bjork, Hot Chip and Damian Marley. On the other stages, the likes of Fatboy Slim, The Waterboys, Trentemoller and Spiritualized Main Lines are headlining.

The perfect cure to any hedonistic hangover.
