Former Busted member Matt Willis has been dropped by his record label because of the poor sales of his debut album, ‘Don’t Let It Go To Waste.’
The singer – who is more famous for winning the UK version of ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ – was signed to Mercury records just over a year after teenage pop band Busted split.
According to The Sun, Willis is now more focussed on forging a television career, however, thanks to his success in the Jungle reality show.
A source said: “He really wanted to make his solo album work. But when it flopped, he lost heart. Matt has a brilliant personality which comes across well on screen."
