Peter Hook has revealed that he is still coming to terms with New Order’s split earlier this year.
Last month the bass player said he was relieved the band has called it a day after so many years playing together.
However, this week at the Mojo awards he was in a more reflective mood about going their separate ways.
He told the BBC: “It has been very sad actually, and it has been very difficult to live with, but that is life, isn’t it? But you pick yourself up, you dust yourself off, and you start all over again.”
When asked why the band had split at this time he was a little more guarded, simply commenting “it’s personal”.
