A handful of very lucky people were invited into U2’s Dublin headquarters to witness a once in a lifetime gig.The band played the gig for 30 Radio 1 competition winners at the bands rehearsal space at Hanover Quays, Dublin.
U2 had a bit of a Radio 1 day yesterday. They co-hosted Jo Whiley’s show and then played a set for Zane Lowe’s evening show.
At the competition winners gig U2 played ‘All Because Of You’, ‘Miracle Drug’, ‘Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own’ and ‘Beautiful Day’ reports NME.
The bands space at Hanover Quays is soon to be demolished.
