Kaiser Chiefs have turned to the creators of the Beano comic to help design their next single cover.
The Scottish comic’s cartoonists will turn Ricky Wilson, Andrew White, Simon Rix, Nick Hodgson and Peanut, into cartoon characters for the cover of the bands forthcoming single, ‘The Angry Mob.'
The band’s drummer, Nick Hodgson, said: "Our next single is coming out in August - and we're going to be Beano-fied.”
He added: "There's going to be a Beano story and it's going to feature us as cheeky characters. We want our Scottish fans to know about it and our love of all things north of the border."
The band revealed to The Daily Record that the collaboration came about because of their tour blog, ‘The Angry’ – which used a Beano inspired icon for it’s title.
