Noel Gallagher has joked that he wants to buy Manchester City – the football club he fervently follows.
City are currently going through turbulent times, having sacked their manager Stuart Pearce and a lackluster season in the Premiership.
Noel thinks that this could be the perfect time for him to place a bid for the club along with M People star/ label supremo Mike Pickering.
He said: “We haven't got a manager, we've not sold any season tickets, brilliant!"
"I'm thinking of mounting a hostile takeover - me and Mike Pickering. I reckon we could scrape together about £400,000 in cash and I reckon we would get it for that."
