Yeah Yeah Yeahs are set to release a new EP, entitled, ‘It Is,’ on July 23rd.
The EP – which will be released on CD, 7” vinyl and digital download - is made up of material that was written during turbulent times in 2004 whilst the band were touring their debut album, ‘Fever To Tell.’
‘It Is’ includes the tracks, ‘Rockers To Swallow’ and ‘10x10,’ which, until now, had only been available on the bands ‘Tell Me What Rockers To Swallow’ live DVD.
The non-chart eligible EP will also be accompanied by the release of a live film which was recorded at the Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn on May 7th.
The night-vision production, was co-directed by KK Barret and Nirvana director Lance Bangs. The film will include two filmed versions of lead track 'Down Boy' - one live and one on EP audio
Meanwhile, the band have confirmed that they have no plans to perform in the UK for the remainder of this year.
The Full Tracklisting for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs new EP is as follows:
‘Rockers To Swallow’
