Timbaland Starts Fight Following 'Racist Jibe'

Timbaland has spent a brief time behind bars in Germany after getting involved in a bar fight.

The incident happened on Sunday evening (June 10) shortly after a Justin Timberlake concert in Cologne. The fracas began at the Hotel Intercontinental bar and spilled out into the street.

According to reports in Germany, the ruckus began when the bar patron – simply known as Robert F – “became visibly upset over his girlfriend talking to Timbaland.” The producer allegedly attacked the patron after he called him the ‘n word.’

Robert F needed some hospital treatment, while Timbaland was arrested and spent the night behind bars. He was released on police bail on Monday morning for €750.
