Man Dies At Rock Ness Festival This Morning

A man has died at the Rockness festival in Scotland this weekend.

Police report the 39-year-old – who will not be named until his family is informed - was discovered unconscious in a car park in the early hours of this morning, but passed away after being moved to Inverness’ Raigmore Hospital.

A police statement says, “A full police investigation is being carried out. There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances at this stage."

Up to 35,000 have attended the festival on the shores Loch Ness, which boasts a line-up including The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, The Charlatans and Groove Armada and the Manic Street Preachers, who headline tonight.
