Bono and Sir Bob Geldof “hung out” with George Bush on Wednesday to discuss African debt relief with the US President.
The celebrity campaigners, along with fellow singer Youssou N'Dour, met with Bush at the G8 summit in Germany.
Bush, who called Bono an "an amazing guy”, gave some impression of the gravitas of the occasion by telling reporters, “"Hanging out with good company, aren't I?"
