The Rakes have confirmed details of their next single.
Alan Donohue and co. release ‘The World Was A Mess But His Hair Was Perfect’ through V2 Records on July 16.
The single is available via two 7” vinyls only. The first comes backed with the Tronic Youth (aka James Rutledge) remix of the title track, with the second consisting of the single and ‘Trouble’ recorded live for Zane Lowe on Radio 1 earlier this year.
The band have recently completed a three week tour of Europe and are currently gearing up for the festival season which takes in appearances at the Wireless Festival and Glastonbury.
