More Trabant

Sounding like the love child of St Etienne’s Sarah Cracknell and Jake Shears is an unlikely but winning combination. Trabant, a five piece from Reykjavik, take their name a the weird German car. You have the feeling if they were a car it would be fluorescent pink and have fake leopard skin seat covers. This is Europop with a slice of indie on the side. The Filthy Duke remixes are particularly energetic. Terry Wogan would have a field day with these guys. Currently promoting their ‘Emotional’ LP in what is said to be a naked champagne fuelled month dirty disco debauchery.
