Kaiser Chief Claims Credit For Spice Girls Reunion

Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson has claimed the dubious credit of persuading Mel C to rejoin the Spice Girls.

Sporty Spice had long resisted attempts to get the pop band back together for a money-spinning reunion, but, according to Nick, a short chat with him was all that was needed.

He tells MTV, “I said ‘You should do it. Now is the perfect time.’ Mel said, ‘Do you really think?’ I said ‘Yeah.’

“So she said, ‘Right I’ll do it.’ I asked, ‘Are you kidding?’ and she said ‘No.’”
