Courtney Love made a shock return to the live stage on Friday night, playing four songs from her upcoming album at a surprise gig.
The former Hole singer played an unadvertised set at Los Angeles’ The House of Blues, playing with her co-songwriter and producer Linda Perry.
Love appeared mid-way through Perry’s own gig, with the pair previewing four songs from Love’s much-delayed solo album ‘Nobody's Daughter’.
Unfortunately, the only other member of the Californian musical glitterati around to witness Courtney’s live comeback was Britain’s very own James Blunt.
