Marc Almond Moves Hospitals

Marc Almond is recuperating at such a fast rate he has been moved to a private hospital from the Royal London Hospital.

The former Soft Cell front man was severely injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred on October 17 and received emergency surgery after the incident.

A statement on his website has said:

"His progress can only be described as remarkable, he attributes a lot of this to the thousands of messages of love and support he has received from fans, friends, the general public the world over as well as many other recording artists… Although he has some way to go to full recovery he is looking forward to getting back to work when he can."

It went on to say: "We never imagined that after only three weeks we'd be sitting in a room drinking tea and laughing and joking with him just like before (you'll be pleased to hear his sense of humour hasn't suffered one bit)."
