Behind-the-scenes footage from The Smashing Pumpkins comeback gig in Paris on May 22nd has appeared on the internet.
The four minute video includes clips of the band preparing for the show – which was the group’s first gig since December 2nd, 2000.
Existing members, singer Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, can be seen warming up with their new band mates, guitarist Jeff Schroeder, keyboard player Lisa Harriton and bassist Ginger Reyes in the video.
The soundtrack for the film features the bands comeback single, ‘Tarantula,’ which is taken off their new album, ‘Zeitgeist,’ which will be released on July 7th.
As announced today (May 31st), The Smashing Pumpkins will bring their mammoth three hour comeback tour to the UK with a one off show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on June 19th. For information on the London gig, click here.
