The Police have played their first gigs together in over 20 years over the past two evenings in Vancouver, Canada.
Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland played a 21 song set to a 4,000 strong crowd at the fan club only event at GM Place on Sunday night.
They followed this warm-up show with a huge show in the city on front of 20,000 fans the following evening.
Hits such as ‘Message In A Bottle’, ‘Roxanne’, ‘Don’t Stand So Close To Me’ and ‘Every Breath You Take’ were included in the mammoth sets.
Speaking to BBC6music, Andy Summers said: "We're playing in these massive stadiums back to back, some nights for 70, 80,000 people.
“It does take a big machine to do that. The smallest, clamest part of it is the three guys in the band, and that was how it was in the old days. But weirdly, it feels like we're bigger than we were then."
