Liars have completed work on their fourth album and plan to release it this summer.
The experimental New York outfit release their self-titled record via Mute on August 28 Stateside – with a similar release date expected for the UK.
Just like their previous effort - 2005's 'Drum's Not Dead' - the record was mostly recorded in Berlin.
Band lynchpin Angus Andrew says that he is happy with the end result, saying: “I'd never felt like a songwriter 'til this album... If you said I'd be playing guitar solos, I'd have called you a liar."
The full album track-listing is as follows:
1 Plaster Casts of Everything
2 Houseclouds
3 Leather Prowler
4 Sailing to Byzantium
5 What Would They Know
5 Cycle Time
6 Freak Out
7 Pure Unevil
8 Clear Island
9 The Dumb in the Rain
10 Protection
