Past Eurovision Song Contest winner’s Lordi have announced plans to make a horror film.
Speaking at The Cannes Film festival, the bands irrefutable front man, Mr Lordi, promised that it would be a “traditional modern horror," with plenty of “horrific scenes.”
Lordi shot to fame in 2006 when they stormed the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens with a song entitled, ‘Hard Rock Hallelujah.’
Speaking about their plans for the film, which began filming this month, the bands front man added: “All of the influences of this image comes from the horror films and the horror genre, so it is kind of natural for this band to have our own horror film."
The film is expected to be released first in their home nation of Finland at the end of 2007.
