Michael Jackson has dropped his legal challenge to an auction of some of his former possessions.
The star had initially tried to force the return of goods he claimed were personal property, but has now reached an agreement with the item's new owners.
The memorabilia - including costumes, lyrics and awards - became the ownership of luggage transportation company Universal Express when Jackson failed to pay a bill for their storage.
A gold record awarded to Jackson for ‘Thriller’ in 1982 will be going under the hammer, as will the original test pressing for the Jackson Five's ‘I Want You Back’ and Tito Jackson's handwritten lyrics for ‘ABC’.

- This is messed up, they should just let Michael keep his things, after all, he earned them didn’t he? Michael worked hard for these things and he needs to keep them, other stars just want these things because it has to do with Michael Jackson. He worked his butt off for these things and he needs to really keep them! LOVE YOU FOREVER MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!!!!!

- this is ****ed up! I wish I had the money and buy all the stuff and return it to MJ. He is the owner of all the items, not the public!!!

- Ditto

- Since it is going up for sale, I am going to bid on some of Jacksons items, they are a great investment. I heard that they are selling other family members itmes too. This is a once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of the ”King of Pop”. Buy whatever you can afford!!!

- paintings of nude little boys!
Like all the ones painted on some famous church ceilings.
