Hillary Clinton Goes All American Idol

Hillary Clinton is going all American Idol on our asses by polling the public over what should be her official election song when running for the 2008 Presidency.

Bill’s other half has posted nine songs on her website and is asking Democrat supporters to have their say.

U2 have two songs in the list, while also up for nomination are KT Tunstall, Dixie Chick, The Temptations, Smash Mouth, Shania Twain, Jesus Jones and The Staple Singers.

In the light hearted post, Clinton joked that she would only sing the winning song if she won the election. You can cast your vote here if you feel the urge

The list of nominees is as follows:

U2 - 'City of Blinding Lights'
    U2 - 'Beautiful Day'
KT Tunstall - 'Suddenly I See'
    Smash Mouth - 'I'm a Believer'
    The Temptations - 'Get Ready'
Dixie Chicks - 'Ready to Run'
Shania Twain - 'Rock This Country'
Jesus Jones - 'Right Here Right Now'
The Staple Singers - 'I'll Take You There'

    • The song that has won many Politicians their positions was done by a native New Orleanian, songwriter/singer/musician/entertainer/videographer/editor/recording engineer, known as Octopus. This little unknown lady, who just turned 50 May 15th, is New Orleans secret! Many campaigns calls on her when they really want to win! This has never been done no where other than New Orleans! The voters couldn’t resist pulling the lever for her clients!
