In a fresh interview, Arcade Fire have professed that internet file sharing does not bother them.
Frontman Win Butler believes that there is little you can do about it, so there is no need to get stressed.
Speaking about downloading and file-sharing, he told Pitchfork: “It is what it is. It’s hard to feel frustrated about it. It doesn’t keep me up at night. And it doesn’t really seem to matter what my opinion of that stuff is. It’s gonna happen.
“There are exciting things about it and there are more challenging things about it. I don’t know. All I really know is that I but records if I really like an artist. If I just want to hear a song, maybe I’ll download it.”
Arcade Fire released their next single ‘Intervention’ on May 28.
