R Kelly Compares Himself to Muhammed Ali and Marvin Gaye

    Plus many other greats...

May 16, 2007 by Harjeet Mander

Kelly has had his ups and downs, but despite the low points he still has an inflated opinion of himself.

The 'I Believe I Can Fly' warbler said: "My greatest competition is, well, me . . . I'm the Ali of today. I'm the Marvin Gaye of today. I'm the Bob Marley of today.

"I'm the Martin Luther King, or all the other greats that have come before us. And a lot of people are starting to realize that now," reports Hip-Hop Soul Magazine.

R Kelly is due in court this summer over child porn allegations.

Maybe that will inspire more chapters in his amazing hip-hopera.
